Join NPEC for Part 2 of our first Talking to Non-Socialists of 2025! As we organize toward a better world in a second Trump term, our encounters with non-socialists of many stripes--from the socialism-skeptical to the socialism-curious--are opportunities to listen, connect, and even find new comrades. In this training, you'll learn the principles of active listening, tips for having productive conversations about socialism, how to combat common anti-socialist talking points, and how to facilitate your own Talking to Non-Socialists training in your chapter.

The training will be held over two evenings on zoom: Wednesday, April 17th, and April, 24th, from 8-10pm ET/5-7pm PT We look forward to seeing you there!

Join NPEC for a Facilitator and Setting Up a Political Education Committee training on zoom.

For the first part of our training, learn how to run meetings effectively, select content, handle breakout sessions, keep notes and time, and other valuable skills for socialist organizing.

In the second portion, we will have a rundown and discussion on how to establish a Political Education Committee in your chapter! We will share our experiences in setting up the Political Education Committee, the challenges we faced, the lessons we've learned, and our advice for developing a dedicated Political Education body. Additionally, we will provide ample time for Q&A, discussion, and troubleshooting based on other chapters' experiences. We hope that chapters across the country, whether large or small, urban or rural, will come with questions and leave with concrete ideas on how to start or further develop a Political Education Committee!

Join DSA’s National Political Education Committee for our Child Watch training! Learn how to build and run a child watch program in your chapter from the ground up, from recruitment to clearance to activities. We’ll cover everything you need to know to make your chapter meetings accessible to children and caregivers alike.

Whether you're new to child watch or have lots of experience with child watch in a socialist context, we'd love to have you at the training! We hope this will be a space to share ideas, support, and tried-and-true good practices among chapters.
